The world’s largest heliothermal power plant with the name of “Asalim” is located at 35 kilometers from the Israeli Bayer-Sheva city. The tower where the accumulated solar power plant is known in the world as the largest and highest power plant. The height of the collector is 250 meters. The energy stored there can provide over 120 households. The solar power plant in the west of the Negev Desert has begun in 2016. The project has attracted several investors with $ 1 billion investment fund. Israel has a promising industry for solar energy development. In the near future, the construction of new solar power plants is planned in three cities: Demonas, Timna and Ashalim. Their total capacity will be 600 megawatts.
