California became the US state where all new buildings became complemented with solar panels. The relevant decision was made by the state authorities. The decision made by California’s Building Standards Committee will become a law from 2020. The committee members emphasized that the decision was “historic” and should be a lighthouse for other states in the protection of the environment and the transition to natural energy sources. At the same time the opponents of the decision noted that it was necessary to pay an extra $ 20,000 to replenish the house for solar panels, which not all families can afford.
