The American Aurora Flight Science will test the solar-powered pseudo-satellite next year. Odysseus’s unmanned system will be equipped with a solar battery and will be able to assemble quite great height, according to the official website of the company.
It is expected that this unmanned system will first collect data on the weather and climate of the planet. In essence, the military is also interested in this project because Odysseus can be used as a pseudo-satellite for the purpose of intelligence. The latter’s tests are scheduled to be held in spring 2019.
